Sunday School

In Matthew 28:19-20, the Great Commission tells us, 19"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them... 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you." At Oak Grove, Sunday School is used as an outreach tool to fulfill the Great Commission. Our Sunday School classes offer an in-depth Bible study, discussion, and sharing in a group setting that helps in two specific ways. To build the faith and knowledge of the saved and to minister to the unsaved in such a way that they may surrender their lives to Christ. This, in turn, will equip us to go and serve as Jesus has directed us by the Great Commission. We have classes that span all age groups from 4 years old to senior adults. Classes meet every Sunday at 9:00 am.

Worship

Worship is something we can do individually, but God places special importance on believers worshiping together. To encourage unity in worship, our services are "blended." This means that services include both traditional and contemporary music. Our congregation spans a range of ages, backgrounds, and musical tastes. Some are in jeans, others in suits. Some are from next door; others were born overseas. All are committed to joyfully worshiping Jesus together. Our Worship Services are every Sunday morning at 10:00am.

Nursery

Currently unavailable.  We are very blessed with wonderful Nursery workers at Oak Grove! Child care is provided on Sunday mornings from 8:45 am until the conclusion of the Late Worship Service. The Nursery is for children from birth through age three.

The Oak Grove Youth Group's existence is summed up in five Biblical beliefs:

  • E - Exalt the Lord's name through worship
  • S - Strengthen faith and knowledge through discipleship
  • S - Serve through ministry

The Oak Grove Youth Group meets every Wednesday night @ 7:00 pm. Youth class is for young people in 5th grade through college
